Tonight I Write of Brilliance

that limply lingers
in aurora shadows
that hollowed man
that pets his dog to the beat
when you see the easiest way
but could not be bothered
that flicked vein of dragon
vomit as it stains
storm discovering darkness
The quote that takes away breath
that truth we always held
A singer dragging note
where sad is beautiful
An actor pulling tear to chin
An act of kindness noticed
Suns glare off of fading muddy puddle
The moonlight sprinkled over
fresh laid beds of snow
too soon
The flash of a nuclear shower
A torch in face
When a bully feels your pain
A passing smile
in a sea of throbbing smoke and bass
the empty page
that tau
nts
that line that none had thought before
