Tonight I Write

Tonight I Write

In the hope my words take flight
To also one day make things right
Because I am so glad we no longer fight

So do you remember when everything was new
Everything that was between me and you 
Although neither of us then knew
We would turn it all to poo

So, 

What happened to our love
What happened to the trust
What happened to make it all so tough

We just couldn't work it out

I loved you then
And I still love love you now, but in a different way
Because our love for each other was yesterday

That being all said and done
You gifted me a wonderful son

So tonight I write so that you just might
Be aware how happy you made me

So big love to you and yours
Because as for me, we are all one big family...

Thankyou for your positive support and ongoing reviews of my humble scribbles... as it makes it so worthwhile to keep on sharpening my pencil and hopefully my mind when I get feedback.
