Tomtom

Once I was smiling,
was I happy?
Now I cry,
am I sad?
Not quite sure where I stand.
Never knowing who I am.
But for the moment I am here within your arms.
Held tight and safe for death has claws,
waiting for you to let me go so it can come and drag me back.
You say we must part,
atleast for now.
Thinking it's too soon to tell,
do you like me?
No I am not sure who I am,
or who I shall be.
But for now it doesnt matter,
as long as you and I make we.
