Tom's Time Talents

This is true;

In my old home
I didn't need an alarm clock,
I didn't have one anyway

I could lie in bed with my eyes shut
And know within a half hour
What was the time of day

All by sounds
So long had I been there
I need not open my eyes
My being wrong,
Was very, very rare

Also I could tell myself
To get up next day at a certain time
And it always was to the minute
Don't ask me how,
Don't know if I can do it now

Cause there's no time requirements
On me these days,
Save for Dr. visits and such,
Time just don't matter very much

Think I liked it better when I had things to do,
Cause this gets boring,
I'm telling you...

So Sean, I loved your comment
On the "second-hand shop"
But there's no longer any need
Cause for me time did stop.
