Tomorrow's Yesterday
Changes are the hardest part of living.
Just when you get used to things,
good or bad, they become worse...
rarely better.
Depressive as it sounds,
I am hopeful.
Why...
I will tell you.
Not once but a thousand times,
or at least as many as it takes.
For some that is a lot,
for others, it is a single utterance,
of truth, shiny like a bright star...
sent straight from heaven
to illustrate the truth of
"ever after".
Dealing with the day to day,
in every way we can see,
but seldom do we take the time to feel.
As that is personal and too close
at times.
Instead the dead keep walking,
and the clock marches on,
to the tune of a lost soul...
Near the bridge that has fallen,
close to the road that is out,
seeped in bog and mud,
yet perseverant.
The desire to do more than we can,
and be greater than we are,
is not by accident.
It is by His design.
The sooner it is accepted,
the larger the difference made,
in what can be within sight,
and what is truly a fight,
concerning all that is Light.
