Tomorrow's sun will bestow
generous rays of hope
when it emerges
from under the cloak of dark clouds
When the winter of discontent
Is burnished
by the sun's golden light.
When broken people are mended
And all the lost are found
When hope floats
Over all the troubled seas
Of our world
Tomorrow's sun will shine
infinitely brighter
When an overflowing cup
of peace and love is passed
from neighbor to neighbor,
stranger to stranger
until all humanity drinks from it.
It will continue to shine
When there are no more wars
left to be fought,
and a peaceful world
is bathed in liquid gold.
