Tomorrow's Cupcake

It’s my shield of glass, Seen through and yes unseen. Entombed by it and more At bay it keeps the green. No sand to hold my steps, Just a mask to stop the strain. Sheltered from you and more Reflecting off the pane. A note, a tune, a song And others like these three. Do daily strike a chord And spark my memory I’ll keep the window clean While hoping you do too And long onto tomorrow’s day For a cupcake lunch with you.
