Tomorrow Is Dead

Tomorrow is dead

We all go to bed at night
Hoping the alarm hits a wake up call
Or the cock crows as the day dawns
We bid our love ones goodnight
And they reply with a charming smile
If you are like me you won't miss your night meditation
Or you probably want to have an evaluation of how the day went
Plan for the next day's event
Too tired to do all that
The sleep is heavy in your eyes
That you couldn't even have your bath
You had a stressful day at work
So hectic that you almost passed out
Good you have a source of livelihood
Atleast you are not a nuisance in the neighbourhood
Tomorrow never came!
Tomorrow never came!
Hope its not a game of chess
Yesterday is gone
Today is here
The thunder grumbled
The flower nodded
The snow flakes danced
When will it be tomorrow?
Its a matter of time
Will I sleep and never wake up?
Am I promised tomorrow?
No never, why? Not me , I don't like this
My kids, my job, my loved ones, my everything
But wait a minute what if tomorrow doesn't come?
Never will anyone pray not to see a new day
The brightness and light of a new dawn
But what if tommorow dies?
Those that are gone never bargained for a return
They left with tears in the eyes of thier love ones
Not in a bit to instill fear in you, but to consciously remind you that tomorrow could be dead.
Live right
Have a good heart

LIVE TODAY AS THOUGH IT'S THE LAST DAY AND LAST BREATH YOU WOULD EVER HAVE.
