Tomorrow Is

OUR FUTURE-   I may have solar power,
have an AI assistant to well, assist;
   and I will live high up in a tower,
   where the world below me will not exist.
         My 3-D printer car will be hands free,
   windows displaying a montage of sea;
   beaches and many a flower and tree, 
                                 oh, to technology.
         Earth you have our deep apology,
         'cause we destroyed your climatology;
plastic and junk the fish now devour,
     deforestation of habitats still persist.
The world I love is drowning in debris,
                                 and I write poetry!
