Tomorrow

Tomorrow,
The future we saw in the past
That eventually became present
To quietly translate into bygone

Tomorrow,
That was once unknown;
The terminus of our fears and hopes
‘Tis now recounted as history

Tomorrow,
That of a generation;
Today of some other
The yesterday of another

Tomorrow,
‘Tis inconceiv’bly crucial
Today continues or ceases, without it
The previous day may not even be

Tomorrow,
Truly, it lies in the past
Teaching us patience and other virtues
Trust and such, as we await it

Tomorrow,
To all, absolutely inevitable
To all, infinitely unsearchable
To all still, deliberately amendable
