Tomorrow
She wraps me like a gifted one without fore-substance
and the only thing she knows is how to bring me time
Hours and minutes become momentum measures of life
as I cleave to the reason why they named her, "Today"
Its because she knows no other way;
Night arrives and today sits on the roof of mind
upon a pillow I head rest without worry or fear
For tomorrow a sideline befriender, chats with moon
and laughs with the stars. He knows that sooner or
later she has to release her contingency
Tomorrow knows no other way;
Symmetry of life is such that it delivers what the other owns
Seasons collide into each other, humans couple heart to soul
wild flowers co- exist, in twilight and in dawn
We live in a mix and match world of dark to light
Chiaroscuro magic, of pure delight
Many a poet have pinned their hopes on daily tomorrows
Befriend both and you will be happy as King and Queen
Love them equally for who and what they are
The sun is an eye catcher the moon a dreamcatcher
Life is good if you believe in the cycle of a creative God
