Tombstones of Modernity
I see the
Tombstones of modernity
crumble
as tired tears
of pretty paintings--colorful--
(wash my face)
and decompose cheap convenient concrete
to make way
for more convenient wires.
The metal, sharp
pries me far above what is knowledgeable
