Togetherness
You were my partner in life
And my partner in love
Two free spirits
Soaring on the wings of a dove.
We started as two loving friends
Who turned into two friendly lovers
Traversing our way on life’s journey
Arm-in-arm with one another.
When we were together
Our music enriched the air
Now that we are apart
It’s comforting just to know that you are still there.
Together our lives were passionate and warm
But now that we’re apart
We can only continue our duet
In each other’s heart.
