Togetherness
if I could only hold that sublime moment
consummated in flowing joy and completeness
the world an oyster of unlimited passion
sweet champagne flutes chanting
salty caviar a la carte
the earth is moving
waves come in crescendo
the top of the peak wonderfully near
as the moon pulls me in and out of reality
life giving force fluid and innocent
almost immaculate
the duvet quivers
a pillow retreats
and satin shirts
rub naked skin
just before release
while the candle of life flickers
in intimate approval and consent
the moment pro ante
glows in heated emotion
and time stands still for a while
