Together We Belong

After all these years
My heart still beats only for you
You are my oxygen
My reason to live
The second I set eyes on you
I feel a rush of love
Passion surges through my veins
You ignite my lips with a kiss
You still give me butterflies
Make my heart beat faster
Breathless I snuggle
We fit
Like a jigsaw
But no puzzle
Our minds are as one
No pieces missing
Edges smooth
We share a soul
You still make me smile
I fancy you now
As much as the day we first met
A handsome man
Killer smile
Tousled curly black hair
Frames your beautiful face
Your dark eyes so magical and so deep
Entirely honest
We bare all
Thoughts
Feelings
We talk of our future
Our wishes and desires
Determined to make each other’s come true
We have the gift of trust
A love so deep and strong
It cannot be broken
Not even cracked
Our bond
Our love
With each other
Together
We belong
