Together Us Two

Asleep, dreaming of two
Images of you dancing within
Holding, touching, and lovin
Who could I ask for, but you?

Morning comes, now awake
Images of you laying so tenderly
Breathing, smiling, so quietly
My need for you, no mistake!

Afternoon comes, hard at work
Images of you thinking of me
Walking, playing, so lovely
Me let you go, no way Im no jerk.

Evening comes, now at home
Images of you lurking within my head
Listening to me, understanding me. Im not alone
No doubts, no dread.

Bedtime comes, now in bed
Images of you close to me
Touching me, wanting me
What more needs to be said?
