Together As One

We are all one, we are all the same
Let us come together and break down the frame
That has kept us apart for so long
Let us be together and sing a new song

Let us share in the joys and the sorrows
Let us accept each other and not have to borrow
The strength to be one and to understand
That we are all connected, through heart and hand

Let us embrace the differences that make us unique
Let us celebrate our diversity and not be meek
Let us come together and create a new path
Where we can learn and grow and laugh

Let us find a way to make peace
Let us work together and find release
From all the pain and hurt that we have faced
Let us find a way to be reconciled and embrace

Let us be the ones to take the first step
And reach out to each other, no need to reprep
Let us come together and create a new way
Where we can be one and live in harmony today.
