Together and Never Apart
I woke up and saw the sunlight,
you were besides me through the night.
I cried a tear, it gets colder.
You were there and lent me your shoulder.
I smiled a smile on my face,
you followed me through my grace!
I know we’re meant to be forever.
Together and never apart…
The days passed by, I’m not alone.
You were beside me all along.
The weeks become months, time went fast
and yes I didn’t notice they were past.
The years went on as I aged.
Our love just grows, we engaged.
I still know we’re meant forever,
together and never apart…
The sorrows had never been shown.
When you were there, for all I’d known.
The falls and pain I faced in life,
You comforted me, when I strife.
Never once had you turned away,
and made me felt like I’m betrayed.
The truth we’re meant to be forever
Together and never apart…
As I rest my head on the bed
You’re still besides me and you said:
“I know our love is forever
Together and never apart…”
