Before I leave I’ll kiss your picture and tuck it close to me
I’ll kiss you often from a distance, wherever I may be
You’ll be with me as I walk through life
You’ll be with me every day
With memories of our love so close, we went our separate way
The special times we had together
With your smile and your loving way
I’d love to have them back again, this is the price I pay
We’ll be together apart in life, you’ll be oh so close to me
