Would it be ok if we did everything together?
I really think we're two birds of a feather
I promise if we do I wouldn't bother you
Or hold on to you as if you're on a tether
It's just that where you are is where I want to be
I'd love to spend my time with you alone
To go to places far, by bicycle or car
To show you all the places I have seen
North, south, east or west, I'll show you all the best
Nooks and crannies outdoors I have found
Where no one is around, and you hardly hear a sound
And the second hand stops ticking on request
No, just to be with you is all I want to do
You're captivating, talented, and wise
Intelligent and smart, you have all of my heart
An inkling at the outset then it grew
