Today's Lesson

Teach me wisdom Lord Jesus
Each and everyday
This is what I asked of Him
When I knelt and Prayed.

But when many days had passed
And the months had flown by
I thought I learned little wisdom
And this is probably why.

I thought I'd learn beforehand
The problems of each day
And conflicts soon arising
Or grieving near my way.

And I would handle all these things
And put others totally at rest
But I couldn't do any of these
So I believe I've failed the test.

The Lord replied because He knew I had questioned Him
Wisdom comes from lessons learned every single day
Since you know you're not wise yet, Child.
You've learned your Lesson for Today.

I enjoyed this one, wisdom comes through putting our trust in God. It is always good to go to the source.
