Today's A Gift
I've walked life's path
for years on end
with something learned
around each bend.
Each day presents
new lessons taught
some that matter
others not.
Some events occur
along the way
shaping me
holding sway.
What time remains
I cannot say
my life now planned
is day to day.
The premise is
I know from livin'
today's a gift
that I've been given!
