Today, my heart ached with longing for you

Today, my heart ached with longing for you,
A melody murmured by a soul in its weeping.
With each rhythmic cut, it brings me down, lifts me up,
Tells me stories of love and separation without any clue.
Through my veins flowed nostalgia, royal blue blood,
A sad hymn, with notes that in the night's sleep were regal.
Today, the song of life transformed into a troubling psalm,
A refrain that repeats, but never sounds the same.
My thoughts shipwrecked in a deep and endless ocean,
Parts of their wreckage pass over the storm of oblivion undivided.
Today, they searched for a lighthouse, a ray from your beacon,
But in the dense darkness, no light passed through its swallow.
My eyes scoured the sky for a guiding star,
When the entire universe seemed poor and vanishing in vastness.
Today, they stumbled over eclipses and nebulae in their searches,
Fleeting lights among constellations, crossing epochs and seas.
In the cathedral of my heart, you are the stained glass window,
Today, your refracted light painted hopes on its forgotten walls.
You built a bridge over the silence between two separated worlds,
And together, we sip the echoes, in taciturn and burning symphonies.
Today, pain transformed into a prayer of beloved nocturnal light,
In life's abyss I found in you a sacred and comforting place.
In the vastness of this infinite space, with time slowly diluting,
The reverberations of our hearts will live in a perpetual and adoring echo.
