Today Is the Day

Today is the day I’m expected to say
I love you and will you be mine
But who gets to tell me that this is the day
When everyday suits me just fine

Today is the day when sweet scented flowers
Come with the sweet nothings I speak
But how does this show of my romantic powers
Differ from each other week

Today is the day when chocolate will say
For me there is no one above you
But you can have both coffee fondant today
For, Baby, that’s how much I love you.

So cute - it is like every other day for people in love, guess we get caught up in the hype of Valentine's day. However I have to admit that I am guilty of being caught up in this hype! Enjoyed your write immensely. Hugs, blessings, Jennifer.

Glad you enjoyed, Jennifer. Annie and I share the same favorite centre… yup… coffee cream! Two in a box just doesn’t cut it. ;-) Terry

No one’s getting BOTH coffee creams EVERYDAY, Tom. There’s love… and then there’s lunacy. ;-) Terry
