Today Is the Day

Today is the day,
you broke an innocent heart,
her soul is scarred for life 
and the fire burns within you.
Today is the day,
you said good-bye
before it was over,
she started to cry.
Today is the day,
you're dying within
because you know what you did.
Today is the day,
you broke my heart
and I knew from the very start
you'd unlove me someday.
