Today I layed in my bed
Looked up at the ceiling
With our song in my head
I imagined you were here
Next to me as before
Would I see you for the year?

I'm wearing the smile 
That you gave me
Though it's been a while
I began to miss you
I'm hoping you'll save me

But I'm here
And you're there
Different hemispheres
Across the seas so far
Days away 
And continents apart 

Yet we have met
At many crossroads before
Times I often try to forget
Today I missed you in pain
Will the universe conspire
for us to collide again?
