Today I Am Less Malleable

I pretend I am malleable.
unsure why.
am I that socialized?
possibly.

my ideas used to be chameleon-like.
I could be talked into and out of things.
open to new ideas,
always seeking possibilities.

I could switch teams without a blink.
today I am less vulnerable
my ideas are not encased in cement.
but they are hidden beneath clay.

Oh, those "secrets" that we keep...and still be malleable without out setting ourselves in stone.
