I did not even know.
I tried to look for it.
Inside Pockets. Sleeves and Combs.

I guess I should have seen.
I searched for it everywhere.
Under books. Tables.Chairs.

I lost a week today.
How could that happen?
I swear I didn’t know.
I searched for it everywhere.
All around me. Inside my home.

I lost a month today.
It that even real?
Where did the time go?
I wish I could have known.
I searched for it everywhere.
All around you. Inside your home.

I lost a year today.
Whoever would have guessed?
Why didn’t you tell me?
Why didn’t you warn me?
Where should I go?
I lost my life today.
There’s nothing more to say.
How simple time spent.
How simple it goes away.
