Nice little poem. At first I wondered why you broke it up like that instead of just making it a single 4-line stanza, but on further reflection I like how the 4 individual 2-line stanzas give it a contemplative feeling as well as a kind of continuous, slower-marching tempo that goes well with your point about time's flow.

Absolutely true; everyone is calling in mindfulness now and screaming "live in the moment". I thought we already had figured it out, I guess not so thank you for the reminder in the form of a poem.
