Today

Today is here, yesterday is gone, she promised to come but never overstayed her welcome tomorrow smiles with certainty of showing up on schedule but not sure if she is for me, today is for me though, so I will embrace her, I will celebrate her, I will be happy, I will live today as though it were my last. The sun shines brightly, smiling on all I do today, I can hear the birds sing sweetly in the air, I can see the day unfolding her packages of surprises Wow! I can smell natures scent , beautiful faces walk pass me Today is wonderful, today is great, today is beyond my expectation I had reasons to cry, I had reasons to try and try again, I had reasons to quit, I had reasons to end life today as I do not so wish or would ever desire, but for every tear drop I cried , for every effort to try, for every challenge to quit, for every reason to end it all, I found another reason, the passion and beautiful desire, to live today at its best, tomorrow can celebrate my today but I choose to celebrate today cos she's here for me!
