To Your Ears

TO YOUR EARS

To your ears I whisper words of love
You hear of how much deep I have drown
Unredeemable from the oceans of your heart
To your ears, I confess the secrets of my thoughts
I say the truths that only you will ever know
I make promises that you know I will keep
I say the words that you want to hear
I have said it all; now, you have heard it all.

To your ears I whisper words of hate
You hear of how much hatred I have for you
I have forgiven you so many times that time can’t remember
Forgiveness far spent; I have no other forgiveness to give you
To your ears, I confess the secrets of my thoughts
I make threats that you know I will keep
I say out the words you never expected to hear
I have said it all; now, you have heard it all.
