To You, Brother
Jungle ape, they called you
in those days
Vindication you handed them
these days
with your gorilla-like acts
guerilla they call it now
I think
very homonymic that is
don't you think
Have you a mould in that brain?
Or why pull the trigger
against a brother
for what is this hullabaloo? I wonder
when you ravage this home
you call your own
and deny us insight
to her gentle face
by the mist you make
over this calm lake.
The justice you seek, you ruin
when you lance that shell.
A mess you now make
of this tidy abode.
To you, brother
What if you lay those arms down
and meet me at the hall, down
at the table we shall fashion
a prosperous new fashion.
