To Whom It May Concern
Birthdays come and birthdays go, the years just pass us by!
You get older by the minute, its enough to make you cry!
Many moons have come and gone, since you first came on the scene.
You’ve had a lot of ups and downs, if you know what I mean?
But, it really makes no difference, how many years have passed,
the bottom line is how old you feel, and how long you think you’ll last!
So as I gaze upon your frame, I’d say you should not fret,
as long as you feel healthy, you really have no sweat.
Sure, you have some minor problems, but no millstones round your neck.
You’ve lived a fairly stable life, no need to change, so what the heck.
So, put your problems all aside, at least for this one day.
Reflect upon the blessings, that may have come your way!
Have a Happy Birthday, (whoever?), but please don’t take offense.
At this poor attempt of silliness, which really makes no sense!
Remember just the lines you like, which is few I would suppose,
then roll the rest up in a ball, and jam them up your nose!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
