All that you despise this man who now toys A human beings eyes The void and how it lies All that you despise Quorn covered in flies A guy who seems wise Never winning first prize All that you despise This irritating noise of a rhymester who tries His comment that defies All that you despise those who are baptised A will you cannot prise The US military size All that you despise those of us who rise Having to break off ties A poet? now chastised By David Kavanagh

Off their rockers indeed Pangie, the one this is aimed at likes to mock us with nihilistic satire, just because we’re human, so occasionally I fire a few shots across their bow, to let them know, I’m not intimidated by their antics, but hey I’m like that in real life, if I’m disrespected by arrogant ones I let them know exactly what I think of them, but indeed I am joyful most of the time, cheers David

I can’t quite recall Soup’s own words, but they say something like ‘offer encouragement and say what you enjoyed’… I take that to mean ‘if you have nothing constructive to say… shut the f*** up’. I don’t get how this bullying/ridicule is allowed to continue: is Soup asleep at the wheel? Nicely called out David. Terry

So true Terry, I love to have a bit of banter with most people on the soup, but this hateful mocking goes on unchallenged by Soup, so like you said I see it, and call it out, no appeasement or looking the other way, thanks so much for stopping by and making a stand, cheers David

I comprehend, David. I wrote a little something out of respect for those who have been/are being maligned. There are stark changes here lately, and none for the betterment of the site.

Always on the ball Jenna, so many poets are being mocked here on the soup by the stark eyed one and they don’t realise it, even the recently deceased are vilified and desecrated by the loser, how cowardly is that, cheers David
