Notes About The Poem

To Those True to Us

Those friends you have who are
silent seeds that have you bloom
into the flower of a poet you are!

They glitter mightily in your soul's
Always radiant universe, raising your
Inspirations to the highest of stars.

A poet friend is not a sometimes thing.
They are nourishing, silver, moonbeams
Enabling your exhausted pen with joy to sing

Deep, true, thoughtful poetry you do compose,
With their starshine, dreamily on your strong back.
Having these friends, leaves you with no lack.

With deepest gratitude,
Panagiota

I did pen it for poetry friends! You, being one of them, really brightens my days! I know comments give us wings. But I never comment to get points or fish for a comment back. That is a nowhere game that generates insincere comments. It reminds me of fishing honestly.! These days I only do what I can… Pangiie xx

Dear Pangie, Your poem truly moved me deeply. It beautifully captures the essence of genuine friendship and the profound impact it has on our creative souls. I loved your imagery of friends as silent seeds nurturing our growth into poets touched me. They indeed illuminate our universe, enabling our pens to dance with joy. Your verses cherish the invaluable companionship of those who inspire and support our creative journey. Pangie, What a heartfelt reflection. - Blessings, my friend, Daniel

Yes, Daniel, friendships have an impact on our souls, with the internet, one learns the distinction bewteen a real friend and those who only “blow smoke!” Negative comnents should be copied and forwarded to PS Admin. ee,Cummiings is my Fav poet, he is earthy and powerfu! His line:’ the best gesture of my brain is less than your eyelid’s shutter which says we are for each other.” Or his other..”For life is not a paragraph and death, I thinl, is no parentheses !” Thank you for being in my life! Good Day, Stephan! I only do my best. I lovthe camaraderie of fruends like you, who accept me for who I am. I am not in this world to live up to anyone’s expectations. That is an empty and lonely road… Pangie xx

Pangie, your poem immediately glows with thankfulness; you have a gift of finding the essence of these subjects. And we can relate to these wants/needs/desires? that we all have.

David, yoir velvet hand of friendship is always there..i do not mean I expect a comment for evert poem! I am not an eye for an eye poet. Comments do not make a poem….poets have their lives to lead, first! I hope I do touch a few souls like yours. With starshine for you, Pangie xx
