To the West

My journeys through

The Dark Blue World,

are complete

My Moondust showed me the way

Of my heart

Of everything

I love her too

We must travel soon

The Heartstone Eagle

To guide the way

The same when I was a boy

Running free

Once upon a time

Once upon a day

The gentle snicker

From Moondust’s horse

Eager to begin

In the dawn light

We travelled

In the freshness

Of the days’ delight

The Eagle circled high

Then flew to the West

My Moondust kissed me

We looked to the sky

And felt it instantly

Moondust sounds very special in your work, Matthew, what a lovely tribute! jim
