To the Victims of Violence

People sharing life together Every country, every land All of us are in this together Created for goodness and love Every life is precious Only fear can cause this kind of evil Nothing good comes from suffering on this scale Every person: man, woman, and child All through the wide world should be able to Remember a time without violence or pain Truly knowing what it means to be safe Heaven knows it is long overdue.
