To the Traveller
Listen to the voice as it’s calling you
Rise from the strings that holds you
See the way where it seems not be
A stride after a stride, you are walking free
There’s but fear all around you
Footsteps louder and louder following you
Look not behind, it’s one way to fear
Look not aside, there’s nothing there
Of those birds you hear singing around
Their sweet melodies telling to look behind,
Of those beautiful grasslands you pass through
The beauty of their dew has never been true
And of those fragrant roses growing either sides by the road
With their scents cutting through you like goddess's sword
Well, sometimes you feel that’s where the path ends
But those are the trials your quest sends
Prayer and determination are the weapons you have
To conquer the fear on the way as you strive
Courage, the right shoe you have to wear
Persistence your ribbon to wrap around your hair
Confidence your shield to safeguard your heart
Vision is the ultimate force that hauls you to the light.
