To the Surprise of the Sea

To The Surprise of The Sea In place of me There is you You stand before me Open door In this light The light of you Makes of me More for you And the rolling eventide misses a beat In forty minutes Lost itself to a voice which spoke like centuries With memories They are love Playing hand in hand down telephone wires They are truth To aching to be ignored In their soul written lines On sexual reams Desirous depictions thrust their way Ever naked And the rolling ebb misses a beat Its rhythm is with out end In place of me There is you I have only just begun

Ooh, something really good is happening here : ) Love is a beautiful thing in how it makes us more, so much more. The beginning is always the best. Oh what do I know, I am most likely misinterpreting anyway. Be happy sweet Colin. Love, Shar

"The light of you Makes of me More for you" is a very wise observation, Colin. When we find love, we grow in joy and spirit. It is amazing how we come alive, even when "Playing hand in hand down telephone wires." Just knowing we have love is such an incredible feeling and you express it beautifully. I'll be sending you mail shortly. Love, Carolyn

Yep! There is something inalterably naked about the sea. I suppose it's the beaches, but more it is what's hidden beneath that nakedness. I like it mucho. Love, daver
