To the Soup

Finally a place
Amongst the chaos 
Of cyperspace
Where my meager
Scribblings are read
By kind eyes and
Appreciative hearts
No more trepidation
When I click on 
That ominous button
COMMENTS
Because someone has cut
My idea to pieces
Perhaps because I 
Am no good – or – 
Perhaps because I 
Am better than they
Now I can eagerly
Await the positive message
Or well worded 
Criticism and I feel
I am a better artist
Because of this place.
Thank-you, Soup
For giving me a home
For my thoughts, and ideas
And my creative spirit.
