To the Rooftops

If Christmas came several times a year
I would surely be a very happy guy
What a true treasure having family near

I would enjoy the carols I love to hear
My spirits to the rooftops would surely fly

Every time I look at it I am reminded of the meaning of Christmas and to keep the special feeling in my heart always. When I was younger it was not always such a great time of year. Family drinking had a way of spoiling the occasion. Fortunately my mom was not a drinker so there was at least one bright light.
