To the One I Once Loved
Never did I mean to hurt you,
Because you mean the world to me,
But it drove me crazy with us being apart,
For I thought it was meant to be.
I admit my mind played tricks on me and was
a little crazy,
From us not communicating like we were,
But my heart never stopped loving you,
For I continued to try to make all your dreams
come true for sure.
Maybe I have some faults to me,
But who in this world doesn't have one or another,
And at least I admit to mine and I try to work past them,
Never letting them keep me down forever.
Hope one day you will see,
What kind of person I am,
Because who you let go, my friendship can be true,
And will always be there if I can.
