To the One and Only

To The One and Only-
Love Again

Why can't you love me again?
You know it is what I want.
Why must we be like fallen leaves,
Seperate,
But with the same root?
Why won't you love me anymore?
Why can't we be like we used to be?
Is it because
I seem so different?
Because I seem so mature?
But dear of mine,
You must know
That in my heart I'll aleays remain
Just like I started.
I will yearn again for your love,
Forever and always.
Please,
Love me again.

One shouldn't have to beg to be loved. That is not what love is. If you were mature, you would know. There is only one kind of love, but there are a thousand imitations.
