To the Least of My Brothers
People ask me why I speak up for God. If someone called your father stupid what would you do? Maybe you would say, I would just ignore them. And then if someone else said he was mean, what would you do? Again, you would ignore them knowing that it wasn't true.
But then another person called your father a crook and someone else called him a liar. What would you do then? Maybe you would still ignore them, but it would certainly bother you.
Then, what if large groups began speaking out about your father in disparaging ways, saying horrible things that you knew weren't true, what would you do then? Would You Still Remain Silent?
And if this went on and on and got worse and worse and you never once spoke up for your father, even though you knew all those allegations were wrong, how would that look to those people.
God doesn't need me to speak up for Him. But He does want me to speak out to those who don't know Him. He wants me to show them what He has showed me and to tell them what He has always told us all. That He loves us! He is all Good and all Powerful. And He loves us all, so dearly!
