To the Goddess of Verses

As the day is to the sun
Your words are to this one
Dear Goddess of Verses
Why have you gone missing?

Woven words with tranquil ease
Spun from a pen my hopes appeased

As the sun is to the glow of the moon
Your light is missed, so hurry back soon
Enriched has my mind been
with your example
From the verses you’ve allowed
my paper to sample

Light once again upon this maiden
Tarry not your muse that awakens
Dear Goddess of Verses I much desire
a glimmer, a nibble of words inspired

Gosh, we could have written these at the same time, same topic. Check out Tap Tap. Thanks for being in tune with the muses. Allan

I have your feelings for an entreaty to a lost Muse inside me. It happens now and then but she will return on a morning mist with leaves and garlands trailing. SuZ
