I don't believe in St. Valentine,
Nor in the sanctity of this day,
But all I wish that you would be mine,
With...or without a folkloric Fay!
Accept this bunch...this rose retain,
As a token and a souvenir!
May I hope that we will remain
Closer and more in the future near.
I do respect the other creed,
Customs and norms that you follow,
And also those who praise indeed,
The lord almighty and hallow,
His name and throne and holy bid!
His sacred books that turned sallow,
From them his messengers decreed,
The teachings that we all wallow,
With an open mind oh! Please accept,
This verse and message from my heart,
Feelings which none can intercept,
Or break them even if he is smart!
