To Suffer

Men fall
Women die
Children weep
Over what used to be their parents
Lying in streets
Charred bodies
Killed without mercy
Killed without reason
No salvation
Within this nation
No limits
To destruction
No companionship is gained
The people of this world
They are lost
They are misguided
They attack
All of our rights
All of our freedoms
We have no safety in our world
We have no safety in our life
Disembodied souls embark on a different journey
They have left us
They watch us
They listen to our sorrows
They are not gone
Not forever
Nothing is forever
Not even death
Death is new life
In a different form
It is freedom
It is salvation
It gives new life
For eternity
No one shall die
