To See Your Face...

A sun kissed petal graces me
I see its pretty face
Thinking on who you will be
When you take its place
In a grassy meadow
In my mind lies a picture
As distant notes of a cello
My dream is just a whisper
Your heart flows from your chest
A river with no end
I will sail upon it
My back is at the wind
Your soul a beam of sunlight
It fills an empty place
Through its window shining bright
I will wait to see your face
