To See It Through

On a late February day
We spoke a few words
And that led me to say
'Hey, how are you? How's it going today?'
It started so simple, so innocent
How did we end up this way...

I could never anticipate this
I understand you
And you understand me
Our parallel paths took many sharp turns
But we both saw it through
And we came out on top

So here we are, on this late February day
I see some of me in you
And you see some of you in me
What do we do? And how do we see this through?
Some bonds cannot be broken
And really, I don't want them to...
