To Rise Again

I sat in a helicopter I felt quite tall But never once do people at this height imagine Someday they will fall I fell from great heights My hands never open In the water Right down in the full sea I would float Then up to the air once again! I only fell so I could learn To get back UP Now I fly Among the colorful birds

I took a ride once in a helicopter and have been on big and small planes. I do not like the ups and downs and would rather not think of the downward drop. love phyl

Enjoyed reading your poem Arastu, I've never been in a helicopter or a plane, I'm now in my seventies, and like keeping my feet on the ground.
